Table 42 with Chef Darryl Harmon is a show about the intimate relationships between food and people. In Chef Darryl’s case, he expresses himself creatively by designing dishes and menus that reflect his love for people and for the art of cooking. In his guest’s case, they dine together to express their love for food and each other. At Table 42, Chef Darryl has an opportunity to marry his passions with those of his guests by creating a special meal inspired by their stories.

As a guest on the show, you will enter into a dining experience that will require you to tell us your stories in two separate interviews––before and after your meal––and to be filmed enjoying Chef’s personalized creations. However, we believe your experience should be as authentically intimate as possible, so sound at your table will not be recorded save the moments when you interact with Chef Darryl. Also, our cameras will be as minimally intrusive as possible so as to allow you to savor your Table 42 reservation as it was meant to be.

Additional photos of our guests––in particular those that relate to their stories, such as wedding photos, family snapshots, etc.––help to enhance the episode, so we may ask for them temporarily. Also, transportation to and from the restaurant at this time will be the responsibility of the guests, but the rest, including your specially designed meal, is on us. It’s our intention to make your time at Table 42 as memorable during the production as we know it will be after.
